You can’t beat this time of year for community spirit. I joined Huddersfield Giants’ coach Nathan Brown and Giants’ star Eorl Crabtree for the switching on of the Holmfirth Christmas lights at the weekend. A huge thank you to Cllrs Greg Christofi, Judith Roberts, Royston Rogers and many others for making it happen.
On Tuesday it was Lindley’s turn with yet another rugby league star, Keith Senior (pictured below). Tomorrow it’s the turn of my home village of Honley – I wonder who’ll be doing the honours then?
