Jason joined local students on a Holocaust Educational Trust trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland last week.
Holme Valley based students from Greenhead College visited the harrowing site, where over 1.1 million Jews were murdered in Nazi death camps. The Trust organises these visits so that students can return to their colleges and schools and tell others of the horrors they’ve seen.
With hundreds of anti semitic crimes still occuring in the UK every year, and other genocides happening around the world, we must never forget.
