Green Jobs for Yorkshire

Jason hosted a major Co2Sense Yorkshire event in Parliament this afternoon:

Green Jobs for Yorkshire

The Chairman of CO2 Sense Yorkshire, Barry Dodd, and the Commercial Director of Powerfuel, Mike Gibbons, announced a major investment in new Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) Technology for gas fired power stations that could lead to thousands of jobs in our region.

This is a major step forward in the coalition Government’s promise to be the greenest Government ever and Yorkshire is set to play a major role in the development of green technology.
