Letter to the Children’s Cardiac Services Review Team

Jason joined other Yorkshire MPs in signing a joint letter to the man leading the ‘Safe and Sustainable’ Review of Children’s Congenital Cardiac Services in England, Sir Neil McKay.

Letter to the Children's Cardiac Services Review Team

The MPs wrote on behalf of the thousands of children and families in their constituencies urging that the review team revise the business case to take account of key factors including birth rates, the impact of large minority communities and patient flows based on likely patient choice. They are confident that these factors would rightly signal Leeds as the Unit that should remain open to serve the North.
