Prime Minister’s Questions, 14th March 2012

Jason asked the Deputy Prime Minister for assurances that the families of the British servicemen killed in Afghanistan last week, including three young soldiers from his Colne Valley constituency, would receive full support from the Government.

  1. The young soldiers should not have been there, we should not be fighting this was for America. It is such a waste of life, we can never win a war against religious extremists. It is about time we stopped sending our young lads out there, in the first world war they would be described as ‘cannon fodder’ How many more have to die before this government listens and does the right thing.
