Anthony Nolan ‘Register and Be a Lifesaver’

Anthony Nolan 'Register and Be a Lifesaver'

Jason joined dozens of students at a ‘Register and Be a Lifesaver (R&Be)‘ education session at Huddersfield New College. The session aimed to deliver the facts about blood stem cell, bone marrow, blood and organ donation to 16-18 year olds in an engaging, thought-provoking presentation.

R&Be is the legacy of Adrian Sudbury, a Huddersfield Examiner journalist who was diagnosed with leukaemia aged just 25. He believed many more people like him could be helped if more young people were aware of the difference they could make by becoming donors.
