Prostate Cancer UK’s Quality Checklist

Prostate Cancer UK's Quality Checklist

Jason has pledged his support for the swift implementation of a prostate cancer initiative which will help men with prostate cancer receive the best possible care and support, regardless of where they live.

The Quality Checklist sets out 15 national standards for care and support that men with prostate cancer should expect and demand, from the point of their diagnosis through to the end of their life.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year, and 250,000 men are currently living with the disease. Jason met with Ruth from Linthwaite who lost her husband to prostate cancer last year, and believes that it is incredibly important that we do all that we can to ensure all men with prostate cancer get the care and support they need.
