British Cycling

Jason is honoured to have been appointed as a Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Cycling. Jason is a keen cyclist and has taken part in the Huddersfield Town Initiative ‘Pedal 4 Pounds’ cycling from Huddersfield to Brighton in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

British Cycling

Jason plays an active role in promoting cycling in Parliament. He was a panel member of the ‘Get Britain Cycling’ inquiry and helped secure a guarantee from the Government to make available up to £10m in funding for the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire.

Jason is undertaking the Parliamentary Sports Fellowship with British Cycling which will educate him in all aspects of cycling from professional racing to teaching children how to be safe on the roads. He will be attending the National Track Championships at Manchester velodrome in September.
