Jason is Co-Chairman of the Contaminated Blood and Haemophilia All Party Parliamentary Group which today published a comprehensive report on the current support available for people affected by the contaminated blood scandal.
(Jason is pictured with Co-Chair Diana Johnson, Labour MP for Hull North)
The report is based on the results of a four month inquiry into the quality and sufficiency of the Trusts and Funds set up to support people infected with HIV, Hepatitis C and CJD from NHS supplied contaminated blood products from the 1970s through to the early 1990s. The report can be downloaded from the Haemophilia Society website.
Tomorrow (Thursday 15 January) Jason will lead a debate on the issue in the House of Commons.
