Jason recently met with Allan Doherty, the Conservative Party Police and Crime Commissioner Candidate for West Yorkshire. They discussed policing and crime issues in the Colne, Holme valleys and Lindley.
Allan who was born and raised in Bradford and now lives in Outlane has hands on experience of Policing as he worked for 31 years as an officer in West Yorkshire Police in both uniform and CID roles across the county. He was a member of the force drugs squad and the major crime unit which involved conducting operations against major drug dealers and other serious types of criminal activity. In 2005 he was promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent and spent 5 years commanding divisions in the Bradford District.
