Jason asked a question in Prime Minister’s Questions to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, who was standing in for David Cameron who is away on Government Business. Jason’s question was about the appalling proposals being put forward by the Clinical Commissioning Group to downgrade A&E at HRI. Jason’s question to the Chancellor is below:

My local Clinical Commissioning Group are currently consulting on their appalling plans to downgrade A&E at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Will the Chancellor agree with me and thousands of Hands Off HRI campaigners led by Karl Deitch, that all options should remain on the table and that a plan B must come forward to keep good quality local health services’
