COUNTING ARMED FORCES IN

Jason is proud to support The Royal British Legion’s ‘Count Them In’ Campaign for the Armed Forces community to be included on the next UK census. Jason met with representatives from the RBL, Veterans and Servicemen and Women in Parliament. Jason learnt that there are currently between 6.5 million and 6.7 million members of the Armed Forces community living in the UK, representing about a tenth of the population. However as the previous census’ have not asked if they were former armed forces the government and local authorities have no Idea where our former servicemen and women live and what needs they may have.

RBL Count Them In

“As an RAF veteran myself and as a proud member of the RBL branch in New Mill, it was a pleasure to meet with members of the Armed Forces community who, along with their families, make huge sacrifices in the service of our country.”
