Jason has signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s book of commitment in the House of Commons to show his respect to those who died during the Holocaust as well as to honour those Holocaust survivors who work tremendously hard to educate and inform young people about the horrors they endured.

Friday marks the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Nazi concentration and extermination camp which is the site of the largest mass murder in history. Jason visited Auschwitz in 2012 with local students as part of the Holocaust Educational Trust programme.

In the weeks leading up to and after Holocaust Memorial Day, thousands of commemorative events have been arranged by schools, faith groups and community organisations across the country, to remember all the victims of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides. For more information please visit
