Jason has once again spoken out in Parliament against plans to downgrade A&E at HRI. During questions to the Secretary of State for Health Jason asked: ‘On these important questions on A&Es does the Secretary of State agree with me that it makes no sense at all for my local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to be bringing forward a business case to spend an extra £300 million on bulldozing HRI and downgrading our A&E’

 Jason McCartney MP - Commons

The proposals to downgrade A&E at HRI are appalling and Jason is still urging the doctors who sit on the CCG to think again. There is still a long way to go and we all need to keep campaigning to Save A&E at HRI. Jason supports the pan political community Hands OFF HRI campaign led by Karl Deitch.
