It was fantastic to meet Sir Geoff Hurst, Karen Carney and the McDonald’s Fun Football coaches in Parliament this week.
Football is for everyone, and it was great to hear how McDonalds is making sure kids of all backgrounds can get involved.
To celebrate 20 years of the Fun Football programme, 20 of the MPs who attended were picked at random to win an equipment pack to donate to a local grassroots football club in their constituency.
I am delighted to announce I am one of the lucky MPs!
The pack contains:
4 x McDonald’s branded footballs
1 x McDonald’s branded tubular football carrier bag
16 x McDonald’s branded bibs (8 in two different colours)
1 x 4 metre speed ladder
1 x set of 50 saucer cones
1 x set of 6 jumping hurdles
