Jason McCartney MP is holding an Older Persons' Advice and Information Fair this Friday, 18th March 2022, between 10 am and 2 pm at the Briar Court Hotel in Birchencliffe.
The Fair which is free to attend aims to raise awareness of the supportive services available in our borough.

I am delighted to be holding this event. If you're retired, know someone heading to retirement or want to know more about what is available in our local area, please do come along and feel free to bring your family and friends to accompany you.
Lindley Councillor Adam Gregg who has helped Mr McCartney organise the event said that over 25 exhibitors are confirmed for the day, including Age UK, DWP, West Yorkshire Police, Kirklees Council, Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, and many more, including local groups and societies.

I am really pleased that Jason is holding this event in the Lindley ward. We look forward to welcoming people on Friday to the Briar Court for what promises to be both an enjoyable and informative event.
Local transport service, Time Together are also proving transport to the event for residents in the Colne Valley constituency who might not otherwise be able to get to the venue. Time Together charge a maximum of £7 for a return journey. Resident can call 01484 860077 to book.
