Jason was delighted to host Rt Hon Michael Gove MP in Marsden this afternoon. The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities was given a tour of the disused Marsden Mills complex.
In March Jason helped secure £5.6 million to help regenerate the former textile mill. Many millions more will be invested into the site by the private sector.
Colne Valley MP Jason worked with Council officers to submit a Levelling Up bid for New Mills, known locally as Crowther's Mill, on Brougham Road, to see it transformed into industrial units, office space and some residential units.
