🚨 The Prime Minister has announced there will be a General Election on Thursday 4th July.
Since first being elected in 2010, and once again in 2019 after a short break, it has been an honour to be your Local Champion as the Member of Parliament for the Colne and Holme
Valleys and Lindley.
I’m proud that our new State-of-the-art A&E department at HRI has just opened, that the £25 million teaching block has opened at Greenhead College, that the Transpennine Rail Upgrade is well underway with Huddersfield station being remodelled right now with Marsden and Slaithwaite stations to come, that local companies are expanding creating quality jobs and apprenticeships and that 974 extra police officers have been recruited across West Yorkshire but there’s so much more to do.
