It’s Batten Disease Awareness Day and I’m wearing this bright orange tie in Parliament today to show my support for Batten Disease Family Association.
Thank you to the 14,007 local people who voted for me on 4th July. Sadly it wasn’t enough for me to be re-elected as the MP for the Colne & Holme valleys and Lindley.
