Leader of the House Zooms with District Nurse Sam

After Jason thanked our local community nursing teams in the Commons Chamber it’s great to see that the Leader of the House took the time to meet Sam, who’s one of our fab local community nurses, on a zoom call.

🎥 Thanking those involved with the vaccine roll-out

More than 10 million people across the UK have now received a coronavirus vaccine - thank you to our NHS, community pharmacies and the wonderful volunteers who have helped this fantastic national effort.

🎥 Asking the PM the priority of vaccinations

At PMQs today, Jason asked about police officers, emergency workers, carers, teachers, nursery staff and other essential workers getting the vaccine as soon as possible.

🎥 Vaccine Rollout

Jason asked the Health Secretary if Colne Valley constituents could get their jab locally and when the new vaccination centre at the John Smith’s stadium will open.

🎥 Extra Covid Support

Jason welcomes the additional lockdown grants and asks the Prime Minister to look again at support for those sectors hardest hit.

🎥 Military Support for Schools

On a busy day for Parliament, Jason thanked our local teachers and support staff and asked the Education Secretary about military support for schools in rolling out mass testing.

Merry Christmas

Wishing a Merry and safe Christmas to all my constituents across the Colne & Holme valleys, Lindley, Golcar, Crosland Moor and Netherton and here’s to a much brighter New Year 💙
